Personal Information

BRO. EMMANUEL CALVIN CANN is the Chairman of the SMC. He works with SSNIT as the Manager responsible for the Diplomatic Missions unit with over 19 years of experience in pensions administration.

He is a Management Consultant at the JPCANN ASSOCIATES LTD, an accredited Lay Preacher, a Family Life Counsellor, a Lecturer at the Circuit Lay Preachers’ School, a Bible Class Leader, and the immediate past Society Steward of the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church, Dansoman – Accra.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon, and a B.A. (Hon) in Psychology with Political Science, University of Ghana, Legon respectively.

He also holds an Advance Certificate in Information Systems from the Institute of Management Information Systems, (IMIS-UK) and an Associate Member, Association of Computer Professionals (ACP-UK). He is a resource person in Leadership and Social Security Administration and practices with a strong emphasis on Compliance Enforcement. He has attended several courses on Leadership, Corporate Governance, and Policy both locally and internationally.

He is married to Florence with three (3) children; Paa Kwesi, Seguah and Ewuraekua. He is 50 years old.
